Gabriel Visits Mary✨
👦🏻👧🏼 So Judah and Kezia are the real stars today … what a beautiful setting and what beautiful voices. ⭐️🫏
Enter the stage of human history one of the most famous and remarkable women who ever lived, the Virgin Mary; the young woman chosen to give birth to Jesus Christ. While it is wrong to elevate Mary to the position of being a Mediator and Co-Redeemer, we must not in departing from one error be guilty of another and so denigrate her precious memory.
We cannot begin to appreciate the shock of receiving an angel as a visitor 👼 let alone the double shock of hearing that she, a moral, godly young woman betrothed to a her future husband, is to give birth to a baby son.
Naturally she posed the question, how such a conception could take place. Reassured by the words “with God nothing shall be impossible”, Mary displayed a gentle and unassuming submission to what was her great calling in life:
𝘉𝘦𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥; 𝘣𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘺 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘥 ✝️
She believed, she accepted, she devoted herself to being part of God’s amazing plan for mankind ✨.
Whatever you are facing today dear reader, complex problems, fears, uncertainties, the God to whom nothing was impossible is to you what He was to Mary 🙏.
Like her let us accept and devote ourselves to Jesus Christ 🌟.
